Do distractions and anxieties sometimes get in the way of your intuitive connection?
You already know that divination can be an extraordinary means of profound change - a way to move smoothly with the dao. Yet at the same time, you've probably had those anxious, stressful experiences when you genuinely need a reading to speak to you clearly, and it just doesn't happen.
So then you can ask another question, or you can read another book (or two, or twelve…), but there comes a point when you realise you're just going in circles - it almost feels as though there's a block between you and your answer, and piling on more points of view isn't helping you to dissolve it.
You need to start at the beginning -
There's a simple reason why this obstruction isn't dissolved by adding in more interpretations:
it's not an interpretive block at all; instead, it comes from the very beginning of the reading process.
There are three basic parts to the reading process:
- Opening
- Connecting
- Integrating
Opening the space for the reading is the first step. You create this space in your attention, intention, and sheer capacity to listen as you mull over your question, and this is where the reading happens. It's easy to see this principle at work with the question you choose: what you ask naturally affects what you can hear in response. But this works on subtler, emotional levels as well -
A cluttered, anxious, obstructed space tends to mean confusing answers that get you nowhere. A free, open space allows the oracle to speak clearly, giving you an answer you can connect with and integrate into your life quite naturally. And that leads to more fluent living and deep and far-reaching change.
(Which, I expect you'll agree, is why we're talking with an oracle at all.)
Introducing Opening Space for Change with Eliana Gilad
This is a live event, using two group phone calls so you can both learn new tools to open the reading space and connect deeply with the response, and also immediately experience how they work on the calls.
We'll be guided by Eliana Gilad, a composer, singer and teacher of ancient healing and transformational music. As well as singing us into a receptive space at the beginning of each call (she describes this as letting the music be sung through her), she'll also share simple ways of using sound vibrations to dissolve blocks and open an inner space for the flow of the reading, attuning and deeply connecting to Source.

I've found that there's a natural affinity between these ancient techniques for quieting and deepening awareness, and the ways I use and teach of connecting with an oracle. My approach is more verbal, using stories and questions to awaken the imagination and stretch beyond the reach of the intellect. Eliana uses direct, wordless sound to bypass the intellect altogether, and vibration to open up the inner space of your body as instrument - so you experience the question and response physically.
Each call will blend our two approaches together: questioning and imagination to enliven and liberate your dialogue with the oracle; sound and music for the experience of inner shifts.

Before I go into more detail, let me just clarify a couple of things that aren't involved:
You don't need to know the I Ching. These are techniques that can be used with any oracle or any way of receiving answers, and really are equally useful to experts and beginners.
You don't need to share your private, personal stuff on the call. The event is specifically designed so you can experience the full inner benefit without having to share a thing - though there will also be time to share reading experiences on the second call if you like.
Oh, and you don't need to be able to sing - actually, you don't have to make any sounds anyone else can hear at all, though we hope you'll say your name when you call in.
