Hi all-
Much thanks to Hilary, who caught this:
Please be advised that David Cameron, at the website known as Images of One, has seen fit to plagiarize my entire Book of Changes (Yijing) simple translation, add his own copyright notice, and incorporate it into a software program called Prova LifeDivination I-Ching Plus, which he is trying to sell for US$27.95 at http://www.imagesofone.com/iching.asp
The main website, at http://www.imagesofone.com bears the motto "There is nothing You Cannot Be, Do or Have"
This con artist appears to take this literally.

Meanwhile, my translation, and a great deal more, continues to be availabe at no charge whatsoever at the link below

In the same software, you will find cribbed Wilhelm Book I (pasted in next to Bradford's - perhaps noone realised they were appropriating two translations of the same texts...), and ideas, tools and terminology 'borrowed' lock, stock and barrel from Total I Ching. Not sure if anyone else has unwittingly contributed...

There is definitely a funny side to this, though. I found the plagiarisms in a sample 'reading' pdf they provide, supposedly in response to a query about a trip to Europe. I wonder, though, whether they didn't just consult at random when they were launching the software.

Yi's answer? 42, line 6 changing. Read the commentary in Wilhelm, and chuckle...

No need, I remember it vividly: "he doesnt increase no one". Period!!

I guess this shows a lot about Cameron's integrity, and consequently, about the validity of "his" writings.

I have put Bradford's message on my main page. removed the (working) hyperlinks though to Cameron's website: no need for extra traffic from search engines following the links.

Good point, LiSe: I've edited Bradford's message, above, to remove the live links. Bradford, if you especially want them in, I can restore them!

It could be that when Cameron and co have time to respond, they will withdraw the software and apologise nicely, in which case I'll be suitably impressed and admiring. If not, I have a small idea, also connected with search engines, that would be quite satisfying to implement.

Has anything developed with regard to Cameron's software/website?

Last I heard he had removed my translation from his database, but it still contained two public domain versions. Still at http://www.imagesofone.com
He apologized publically to me and added a link to my site on his software.
