13 Is about times when people come together and share this leads to times of great having both materially and in the inner world of the self.

Line 1 Says that you are at not yet at the time of coming together but now is not the time to push on ? pull back for now ? You cannot force it.

This will move you on to a time of ?

Line 3 - You have been treated badly and are resentful ? The resentment makes it harder for you to reach out in a good way? Use disentangling to set you free of these negative feelings otherwise you we be separated for a long time.

By disentangling your feelings you may move to a time of?

Line 5 ? When you will meet the other in tears of joy ? This will bring a clinging together in bright radiance.

In 35 you and your friend will have arrived in a new day of prospering.

The lesson, for you, of this time is that of 35:36 ? The hardship that leads to the release from suffering.

The seed to your problem being solved is also a stroke of good luck which will lead the other to hear your message in their heart.

So sit back and sort out all of those feelings - then you can progress succesfully to 35!

Hi Anon

My reading of it is that you need to sort out your own feelings (especially the negative ones) so that you are clear and 'unloaded' before proceeding.

The Yijing seems to be saying that your current approach is entangled with too much emmotion and you need to make an open undemanding approach.

You could 'disentangle yourself' in many ways from meditation to talking it through with a freind... or just think it through and let it go... whatever works for you.

As for waiting... The lesson in this time for you appears to be that of learning to deal with this sort of entangled hardship in a positive manner in order to progress... It is not about being passive.

You might try reading 35 and 36 and see them as a pair... 35 is the idea of the situation and moving accrosss to 36 is the resolution of it. If you can understand how to move between these two you will jnow how to deal with these sorts of situations...

When you get clear in yourself (unloaded) think gently about how to proceed... be immaginative and try to find a plan to carry you forward in an open easy way... this approach would accord with the nature of this time.

But you will be doing the work...

But there is a little help on the way... seems that the lady of fate will throw a card down and this helps yopu achieve your end... You do not need to wait for that card... she is the meanest poker player on the plannet... but ir seems she will play her card for you in time.

Try to sense the time as you move forward through this cycle... try to stay in accord with it.

Not much to add to Kevin's wise words, just a thought that sprung to mind: maybe 35 is telling you to raise your light so it can be seen. I mean, Im seeing this like you two are in the middle of a big crowd, trying to find each other (13.5 shows that you are strongly bond together in your hearts), and it may help if you stick your head above the crowd, so you can be seen
