As an example of mapping general-to-particular thinking to generate meaning, regardless of the context being real or imagined, we use a questioning method to derive hexagrams of the I Ching that 'relate' to the current context in some way. I have modified the page concerned to use radio buttons instead of the drop down menus and added some additional links and 'refined' what the original text:

Note that this method is also applicable to, for example, MBTI categorisations etc - same qualities, different labels.
