View Full Version : 25 unchanging

Last week I wrote briefly about having had what for me is an unusually lucid intuition or presage. I'd been mulling a particularly noxious personal tragicomedy--more noxious because the solution is out of my hands--and suddenly I had a fully-formed and clear realization that the situation will be resolved very favorably. Fearing that I might have been wishing and not intuiting, I asked the Yi what to think of the intuition. The answer: 45 unchanging. The intuition is correct and valuable. Keep your chin up, no matter how bad things get.

Powerful presages aren't all that common for me, although I do have them from time to time, usually about loved ones who are far from me and who are feeling some strong emotion. Yesterday another one came, this time pointing to how and why my little tragicomedy will have a favorable outcome. Again I feared that this was a wish and not an intutition, and again I asked the Yi what to make of it. The response was 25 unchanging.

Seems like it's trying to tell me something ...

Er ... that would be 26 unchanging. Is it possible to edit these messages?

Hi Calumet

Go to 'Edit profile' - Left hand bar.

You can edit there - I think after some ?3 hours the edit option disables... now to read your post properly.

It would appear to me the Yi is telling you to be active.

Whether it is referring to your intuitive moment or adding another idea - you will probably be able to tell.

The idea in this hexagram is to accumulate energy, not to sit still but to go out and do? impose action and direction with a view to making the space/time for things to come to fruition.

The oracle is one of a great harvest in this matter.

The lower trigram seems to show that in this time you are creative and energised in your self.

The upper trigram is that of the outer world at a standstill at an end of a time. The first, your inner world rises up (out) to bring about the positive change in this time.

Hope its useful.

Kevin, thank you. I also picked up the call to action. My question regarded not the situation, but my intuition about it; so the action called for regards not the situation but the intuition. Now, to figure out what.

Hi Calumet

Remember the Yijing does not always answer the precise question... Sometimes it decides to advise on the matter beyond the question...

Good luck figuring.
