View Full Version : Certain phrases give me trouble

One of the problems I have in disciphering the I Ching readings is certain phrases that appear, even in the translations. For instance, I do not what it means to be firm and correct, nor do I understand what is meant by crossing the stream, river, etc or friends from the north, south, whatever. Are there any standard interpretation of these phrases that would help clarify things???
