Getting back into loving relationships

I asked what is my love relationship with a specific man. Chen The Arousing came up as both upper and lower hexagrams. I don't know what I need to do in order to assess the actual level of this relationship since I get strong messages from him and others about him wanting to be with me but no specifics such as call me or I'll call you here's my number. If I'm in over my head at the moment should I take the risk and wait until my life is more organized or will waiting bring a non-communicative lapse that would be difficult to renew? Does the theory that if it's yours you can let it go because it will come back always happen? One of my big issues is about forgiveness. Best wishes.
