Thank you very much for sharing this artist with us. I always like looking at other artists' work, and I very much enjoyed looking at this artist's visual interpretations. I'd love to see your work as well if you have any online.

Interpretation of the hexagrams and lines is unique to every individual and every situation. And so will be, hopefully, visual interpretations such as these. I enjoy reading interpretations that are different from my own... and I enjoy seeing visual representations that are different from my own.

I particularly like his interpretation of hexagram 1. The tree is sublimely a dragon.

Have you seen the Tao Oracle deck by Ma Deva Padma? I bought it and love it and do really insightful readings using it. I never imagined that cards could produce as clear answers as coins or yarrow stalks, but they do and sometimes more because of their evocative nature. As a matter of fact, I brought them along with me today because I was asked to do a reading later.

Arrrgghhh... your program apparently has it in for blondes... *wry grin*. It happened again! I never even attempted to upload images after the first time I hit post. I decided to go back and change the alt tag for the images... and THEN uploaded them.

Would you mind terribly deleting the first post with the empty images?

I think I've figured out how to avoid making the same blunder next time I change my mind. And that is to edit AFTER I've gone ahead and uploaded the images.

Thank you thank you thank you for deleting the less dynamic of my dynamic duo of posts.

Although it doesn't define the 'legal' implication of any applicable intellectual property law, my feeling when my art was 'posted' around was that it was free exposure and might possibly result in sales, so I was always pleased (AND flattered)... for what's it worth.

there is this european guy that you can google 'i ching paintings of each hexagram' that were pretty good. he also had an impressionistic color and display of elements that kind of had the sensibility of light/earth dynamics play out on an i ching level. pretty amazing painter

i used to wonder if he was Lise's famous artist husband but i dont think it's him.
but i was digging his paintings and overall art too---and his quotes about real bread having the life force in it, with kernels that were thousands of years old still germinating--
made me think about chi in a new way
