I don't know what is wrong with my life. 2 back back I was retrenched. So I took up a course that I like and hopefully to excel in that field. I did pass the examination but I could not find any employment at all. Everytime I go for interview it's next successful. Just last week I went for another interview and have not receive a reply. So I consulted the oracle asking if I will get that job. The oracle I got was number 25 Wu Wang with bottom line and 5th line as changing line. The future hexagram is number 35 Chin with nor more changing line. I don't understand what it means by that. Could someone help me to interpret it?

Thankyou in advance

Hello Jml.

Having come from a place that sounds strikingly similar to yours, I can easily relate to the reading, at least as it was applicable to my own dilemma and its following progress.

I think that 25 is reminding to hold to that within you which is naturally innocent, free of fear or ulterior motives. Your two change lines encourage your continued effort and seems to say, that your intentions are honorable and pure. It suggests that nothing is really broken and so to not look for things that need fixing. Things are as they're supposed to be, for the time.

This evolves into 35, which indicates a time when you will indeed be granted interviews. The Wilhelm says it this way: The powerful prince is honored with horses in large numbers. In a single day he's granted audience three times. If this is to taken literally, it suggests that you will be granted three interviews, and that it is a time of hopeful progress toward accomplishing your goals.

I hope you find this encouraging. In my opinion, you have reason to be encouraged.

... a sort of postscript to Candid's reading. As a description of the best attitude, this reading says stand back, don't get emotionally tangled up in events and your reactions, but be present and spontaneous. And also, stand ready to seize opportunities and really make the most of them when they come. You can do better than just waiting for things to improve: you can work creatively with the strength and energy you're given, and make it grow!

Of course, that doesn't tell you the outcome of this particular interview. It is a positive reading, very encouraging, but it also talks about 'affliction'. So I'm not sure of the outcome in the short term - what I am sure is that it is as it should be, like Candid said. If things are painful that doesn't mean they need to be 'fixed' with a magic pill - more that they need to be seen and grasped on a personal level, perhaps.

Wishing you the best of luck - and many gifts of strength and energy -
Hilary

Dear Candid and Hilary,

Thankyou for the interpretation. I guess I will just wait and see. I posted a rather confusing question on the other board ( I personaly is rather confused since I am at a crossroad) What I was trying to ask is how long do we have to wait to see the results after consulting the oracle before we can consult again.

Thankyou

Warmest regards to all
