Hexagrams need time to become manifest.

Thought I'd let you know of an interesting reading. I'm putting a folk band together (I play 'cello). I'd arranged a rehearsal with a guitarist, and on the day of the reahearal, I got hexagram 63. Great, I thought - everything is in it's place. Then the guitarist rings, and says he has to back out. So I start to think, is the I Ching taking the mick out of me, or what?!

So, I arranged a rehearsal with another guitarist, which was today, and before the rehearsal I got hexagram 11 going to hexagram 40. The reahearsal went brilliantly.

Looking back, I've realised that hexagram 63 WAS right, but it just needed time to develop.

Yes, time and changes do work hand in hand. I appreciate your initial dilemma though and have felt the same relief and satisfaction when things actually do play themselves out in time as predicted.
