49.2.3 to 58 Help - what do you do about contradictory lines?

I asked the Yi about a significant enterprise/commercial venture I was thinking of doing and got (I forget the hex #) but it was "Preponderence of the Small" which I didn't take as very encouraging .... then I asked "what idea or significant enterprise should I be focusing on and got 49 w/ moving 2 and 3 turning to 58
49.2 - starting brings good fortune
49.3 - starting brings misfortune ....

ahhhh!! I am open to anyone's comments/interpretation on this. Thank you

Both 49.2 and 49.3 are about a time after which change is possible.
In line 2:
"When the day is over, one can change things,"
Line 3:
"When talk of change has returned three times,..."

Line 2 is about aspects that aren't that hard to change, but do need a little time, line 3 is about aspects that need cooperation from other people, who need to be convinced. The undertakings in line 3 that bring misfortune are the things you might be tempted to do immediately, without first getting the cooperation from others.
