46 and 25 ?

In other threads I'm reading about how 25 is opposite to 46 in that 46 is about work and 25 about being yourself naturally. I keep getting 46,2 in response to a question about the progress of a relationship - but as I feel the rejected party I am not inclined to take the initiative. That is I want the relationship to progress but am sure that its now up to the other person - as I put so much in it would be pushy and humiliating for me to take it any further without a response from them. Do you think 46 is always saying its up to you to do the work ? I honestly don't feel I should put any more work into it ?

Maybe no more work, but just make the first (new)contact sincerely and genuinely and then be positively receptive to whatever comes next. And work it from there...

Are you sure you received 46 changing to 25? As then all lines would be changing.
If you received just changing line 2 of hexagram 46, the resulting hexagram is 15.

No I didn't get 46 changing to 25 - I bought 25 up in response to whats happening on other threads - sorry am being confusing. I got 46 with line 2 changing which yes gives 15.

Yet despite the advice of this I think I shall not choose to make the small offering, well I don't think so anyway - pride I guess at stake and possibly some tears. How often can you put yourself on the line for someone ?? Well I suppose pretty often if you got it bad...

Void, 46 could always mean to grow in your conviction. Your conviction could be sticking to your guns, doing what's right and best for you, or to enforce your will in spite of the obstruction this other person presents.
