Coming and Going

Hi there:

What are all these references to "coming" and "going" and "advancing" and "progress".

Sometimes it seems that although it's all English, it's a different language.

Clarity mentions a book she wrote - what's the substance of it?

Hi Rosalie-

To me these are just straightforward literal translations of the Chinese words
wang3 lai2, "going and coming", not visa versa
xing2 for advancing
jin4, jian4, or xing2 again for progress.

I've looked fairly closely to see if these terms had any relation to "line movements" or other structural dimensions as was suggested in the flood of speculations of the Han Dynasty and Wings, but I wasn't able to see any correlations.
They seemed to be just words used to describe an image or action.
