Malka, I think you are right to go back and look at the first answer you got to your question on the relationship issue. Whenever I have asked too many questions on the same subject, I almost always ended up getting more and more confused.

I used to wonder what the I Ching means when it says:

At the first oracle I inform him.
If he asks two or three times, it is importunity.
If he importunes, I give him no information.

How can that be, I thought. When you throw the coins or count the yarrow stalks, how can the Oracle NOT give you a hexagram? Well, the answer to that is, when the Oracle doesn?t want to give you information, the hexagrams you get will not make any sense. It?s as simple as that, imo. I hope that helps.

Thanks Angelfish. In my case, the hard part is truly determining which is the first answer? When we met, lots of 31. When we initially parted, lots of 61 (In particular 61 > 41.) Since my anxiety driven act these last couple of weeks -- I got about everything under the sun. Bottom line, I beleive I need to forge a new relationship to Yi. Instead of asking more questions in the future, I'm going to "try" and go further into the answer I've already received to see what else is there. The place my mind sometimes likes to get stuck - I wonder, "What's changed since I last asked Yi that Yi couldn't ahve possibily known about?" And this gets me into the whirlwind.

Thanks for being a fellow traveler. http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/I_Ching_community/clipart/happy.gif
