Dear friends,

My name is Soshin, I am a Lay Practitioner of Zen in Austria, Europe. Because my mothers tongue is German, my English is not that good. Nevertheless I hope to be able to share my opinions about your readings of the YIjing with you and get advice and help when I get stuck with an answer I do not understand.
In 1987 I discovered this great book for my personal use and I never got tired reading it and getting help from it for my needs.
But even after collecting about 1100 documented questions and answers I would consider myself as a mere pupil of this wonderful Book.
Recently I changed from the coin method to the yarrow stalk method, which was a big benefit for me, because it is close to impossible to do a reading with the stalks without being attentive and open to the present moment, which helps me a lot in understanding and appreciating the answer life gives through this book.
I am very happy and thankful to meet Claritys place here in the net and for the possibility to join this group.

Peace,

Soshin

Dear Soshin,

It is wonderful having you here to share with us your practice with the yarrow stalk method. I have been a humble learner myself but with the coins and I would like to try the yarrow stalk, although I am not sure if I am prepared to do it yet.
Please do not worry about your English, my mother tongue is Portuguese (I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and I still make several mistakes. But all the friends here have been really patient with me!

Thank you all.
Learner.
