View Full Version : 30.5 to 13

Every time I bring up looking for a job in another city, the Yi says 30.5 to 13.

The fifth line hardly seems appropriate to the questions I'm asking or decisions I'm asserting.

Anyone got a clue why?

Thanks.

Val

Line 5: INSIGHT BRINGS SADNESS - IT WILL BE FOR THE GOOD. You may have had a flash of deep insight. You may have finally understood the need for suffering in the scheme of things. You may have finally realised that the way out of suffering is to give up the desires of the ego, that all suffering is caused by non-acceptance and resistance. This may make you sad and downcast. Don?t be. You are experiencing a major change of heart, which will bring good fortune for everyone.

Frandoch...

Suffering? Sad? Not me. Can't relate. That's why I say it's not appropriate. I'm happy and ready to go. There's got to be something else here.

But thanks!

It's about a particular city. I wonder if it's trying to warn me off.

Hi Val,

Steven K writes:

'It feels as if you have lost a connection with someone important to you. Find supportive friends. You are couple with a creative force.'

Overall the 30>13 seems very favourable to me.

That's the same thing. And it's not true.

I have NOT had a change of heart...I have NOT lost a connection with someone important to me. There is no one here important to me. I am here alone.

There's something else going on here.

Thanks!

Well I just had a change of heart. Decided not to follow up on this opportunity. It's in an industry I've never worked, and I've never been drawn to.

I'm just going to go and visit and have a good time with my family. Who knows. Maybe I'll even run into Luis...*grin*

When I said never mind to the Yi, they said 24.1 to 2.

Yup Michael...

I got that...that's an easy one for me. I get that a lot when I say "Okay never mind...bad idea"...and I get "It's not yet time to act" a lot too.

By the way, have you been to the Open Space yet? Have you seen the thread, "Have you seen this man?" yet?...*wicked grin*

Val, I might be wrong, but it seems to me you have spoken about loosing and gaining a connection with someone -- you're inner little girl. There has been sadness. And you are not exactly there alone, you are with her. Sounds like you've done alot of work with her since living in this place. Maybe Yi is telling you not to forget this as you move back to the vibe of the city?

Frandoch, I'm very curious about your translation. What book it is that you quote from?

Malka,

Tut,tut - you should recognise the style. It's from my book.

Frandoch,

Oh, I hadn't realized! Of course! How can I order a copy? Please email me the particulars. You'll also want to take a look at the request I posted in my career dilemma thread (just a simple request for your line readings!) Thank you!

Malka,

The book is in final edit, design and layout. It will be published soon, initially as an e-book. I'll post details for anyone who's interested at that time.

I'm sorry -I forgot your request about career dilemma - I'll do that today.

Frandoch,

Ah yes, it's a reformatting, not a translation. I've still enjoyed the sharing you offer from it all the same. Clear, simple. I like that, and would benefit from reading more.

Luis...

I'm going to Philadelphia on the 21st to meet my new grandson and hug and kiss his mother whom I miss very much. I'll be staying in Center City.

Val,

You'll be very close, some 45 miles from where I live. I still have a house in Philly, a few blocks away from the Art Museum and Center City, which I have rented. Didn't know your daughter lived in Philly.

You said that you had an offer to work in Philadelphia? I lived there for some 12 years and IMHO is a great place for somebody who lives alone or have no kids. Just like any other big city, it all depends on where you live, of course. You may like it.

Cheers,

Luis

Luis...

She's there until maybe December. Her husband is on a film crew...filming in South Philly...a TV series.

They live in Los Angeles.

I should have guessed that... It is a really good series. David Morse actually lives in the area and requested to be based in Philly.

I heard a rumor that Lee Daniels, the show's producer, is also a native. He's in production on a movie there as well, "The Woodsman," starring Kevin Bacon, who's from Philly too.
