After buying a book called "How psychic are you?" there was various forms of divination in there.1 was I Ching which interested me.I then bought 2 books:

1)The Everyday I Ching.By Sarah Dening.
2)I ching made easy.By Roderick and Amy Max Sorrell.
Both books were a good start. Then I found the Stephen Karcher books:

1)Symbols of love.Which is purely for relationship matters, and I found another book of his called:
2)Total I Ching" which goes a lot more indepth about everything.

And,my point of all this was after reading the beginners books there were a few options:3 coin method,6 coin method and stalks.I tried the 3 coin method but after trying the 6 coin method this method felt right for me.The 6 coins I chose I held them 1 at a time.If I didnt feel comfortable with them I didnt use them.I did find 6 coins that felt right. As for the stalks I just didnt feel any connection with the method.

Do you use the 6 coin method too?

Chris.

ahhh, I see you have the sorrell book.....6 coins is okay but you miss the possibility for a more indepth reply because you only get one moving line, and never get NO moving lines. 3 coins gives you more possibility.

you could also use an online system like Hilary's.... or the one you can purchase at GreatVessel.com for a very indepth reading

Should I then use the 6 coin method and throw the coins 6 times?

Hi, again, Chris

I would really recommend to stay true to the basics, especially at the beginnings. The six coin method simply does not give you the right mathemathical probabilites.

I would use the three coin method, mainly because it gives the Yi the possibility to have no changing lines or more changing lines than one.

Warm wishes,

Soshin
