I am a potter living on Whidbey Island, in Washington State. I have been
raku firing and throwing pots since 1970. I have been throwing the I-Ching
since 1988. I would like to offer my I Ching pots, for sale, here, but I'm not
sure what the protocol is, or if there are rules against my giving out my
contact information.
Each piece is hand carved and features the chinese caligraphy as well as
the six lines of the hexagram, and an interpretation of the hexagram.
( laminated )
To date, the following hexagrams are available:
1,2,8,11,16,22,37,48,52,55,56,58,61.
I would be happy to do any other of the hexagrams, by request. Digital images
are available; I also have available a DVD documentary of my process and philosophy.

Hi Joan,

I would click throuh to your profile to find your website address if I could... but something seems to be broken here. Ouch. (This is our first day with the new forum software.) Please do post your contact info, and add a small image of your work.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. My contact info is available on my profile (click 'nightsky' above this post). [Edited by Hilary to protect Joan's email address!]

Anyone who wants information can email me and I can email you images of I Ching pots and the calligraphy.

I am not sure how to transfer a digital image from my computer directly into this message board. Any suggestions?

Thanks. Joan

There is now an image of my pottery available on my profile.
Just click the "nightsky" button and you will be able to see it.

Joan, you might want to edit that post to disguise your email address. If you leave it unprotected online like that, I'm afraid it will be picked up by bots and inundated with spam in short order.

To add an image to your post, you can either link to an image on another website (if it's your own image, obviously) by clicking the little mountains picture above, or use the 'attachments' button (the paperclip) to upload one from your computer.

OK, edit done (there's a time limit for editing your own posts). If you click 'go advanced' at the bottom of the page, you get a message editor with more options, including the paperclip button for attachments.
