What the hey is a Moving line thingy, where can you get the actual for real Book of Changes, that doesn't have some modern dudes own version of things, but instead has the ORIGINAL meanings, and also I don't have a lot of cash, so I'd like to find something that doesn't cost big bucks. that would be very nice. I probably have more Questions,m but I can't think of any just now.

Then they're not very important questions, right?

Our beloved den mother Hilary can walk you through the introductory steps
with this thoughtfully prepared page.

We can see how impatient you are. That leads nowhere here, however.
Try the beginner's lessons above. It will also answer lots of your first questions,
like those about books.

Jdjms, it's very odd all your readings seem to yield only a single hexagram. It's much more common to end up with two. Some methods of reading involve 3, 5, 7, and more. In fact, I've heard Stephen Karcher has developed a comprehensive system that considers a field of 64 hexagrams for each reading. I'm working on one that uses 66 different hexagrams, but it's not quite ready for publication yet. Still trying to figure out where the last 2 come from.

It might be a good idea to follow Brad's advice and read some of Hilary's material on this website. She didn't call it "Clarity" for nothin'.
