It happened to this Master (http://www.superiching.com/)... A lesson about what may happen to you if you go too deep into your Yi studies:
Cat yelling (http://alexchiu.com/cgi/frame/smartframe.cgi?http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4870436784962287924&q=cat+yelling)

A warning for delicate ears: the F... word is used liberally...

Funny guy, Alex. I was horrified when I saw his pages for the first time, but now I think, perhaps it's all a joke? :D

I am totally confused.

The video was shot by Alex... If I was one of the cats, I'd sue him... (not to mention I'd refer him to the ancient sages for a spiritual trial...) :D

Was it Alex himself that took the video and shouted at the cats?
I thought he only linked to the video, don't know why, but perhaps not with approval.

I'll be darned!! I just went to visit the site and he edited his website after I linked the video!! The link, that used to appear in the upper left corner of this main page, said something like "a video about me yelling to my cats" and had a warning about language saying something like for "mature audiences"...

Well, I imagine the video will disappear next...

Will I live forever if I yell at the squirrels outside my window?

Who would want to live eternally in one body, especially if you’re cat with a turkey screaming obscenities at you?

Just imagine the arguments over the litterbox.

That would be awful being yelled at like that,
in your own home, while you're trying to have a little nap.
It would be just like being married again.

I was curious about this, because it is so bizarre. If you google "cat yelling", this video is all over. There are several sites that play strange home videos and the videos get emailed around between kids. It wasn't the super i-ching immortality guy that created the video. The guy who made the "cat yelling" video also made a "vegetable yelling" video.

It was probably meant to be absurd, but I think he's tottering a litte close to the edge where humor is lost, especially when he says a few sick things that more impressionable people can and do take seriously.

Ever heard the phrase "herding cats?", that's the idea- why it's supposed to be absurd- but, I think he loses the boundary between violent and absurd in a few phrases.

Anyway, to absolve the other guy mentioned of responsibility for making the video. He must have just thought it was funny.

Good sleuthing, Autumn! Now, I wonder why he would take the credit for the video in his site (not there anymore but it was)...

Humor through a medium like the Internet is a fascinating, but slippery, thing. For example, this site (http://www.blackpeopleloveus.com/index.html)is hilarious. But some people just can't "get" satire. There are people who are just not bright enough to see this website is a Saturday Night Live skit.

*Disclaimer: This website is mocking the covert racism of politically correct, upper-middle class white liberals by satirizing gratuitous culturual adjustment

On the other hand- it's not really funny to hurl threats of bodily dispargement- even at cats.
