Hi, everyone. Thank you for all help
My daughter needs to find an apartment in Manhattan in a building with an elevator at a resasonable price. Not easy. Her roommate ditched her so now she is looking for a studio.
I asked do you have any advice for C on how to find an aprtment in NYC she can move into? I got 15 no lines. I asked this on 9/20 at 11:20pm eastern time.
I also asked a few days later What should C do to find an aprtment and I got 58.2-17 . She has been commuting and it's been very hard on her. Thanks again.

Hi Susan,
15 and 58.2 have the idea of equal exchange, in common. This could include the manner in which the rental property is pursued, or just getting the best-for-your-buck. There's also the possibility of compromise and/or negotiations.
Seems like the kind of answer you'd expect from a good business manager.
17 is where a deeper guidance is implied.

58.2 Captive talks. Auspicious. Troubles go away.<!-/quote-!>

58 is about conducting talks, deal-cutting bringing a war, or more broadly a change in circumstances, to happy closure. In particular this is about seriously negotatiating about personnel and property.
So she needs to engage in serious, detailed deal-making in order to get something reasonable, and then there is a prospect of success.
Also, the sense in 58 is that we are playing from a position of strength. Perhaps she is being reminded that she is still free to tell a real estate agent to go to hell? I think this is always useful advice anyway...
Good luck to your daughter.

Gee thanks, so maybe if someone says their apratment is 1500 she could offer less? Or maybe going to the school and tellling them they should offer financial aid for housing because they haven't enough places for her to live. She needs accessable and they only offered one dorm her.
