A dear friend's husband has been laid low by a mysterious infection - some kind of pneumonia - it has doctors baffled. He has recurring fevers, etc, and most recently has had a lung biopsy. It will be several days to a couple of weeks until the test results come back.

His immune system has been compromised by recent chemo for a brain tumor, so this tiny monster could be almost anything. It has not been responsive to a wide array of viral and bacterial antibiotics.

I asked Yi what I needed to know about this infection that I could share with my friend and got 37.1.3.6>8, which at first glance seems reassuring.

Anyone willing to take a shot at interpreting this reading?

Rinda

Hi Rinda, ltn hear from.

This is bigger than I'm willing to tackle, but your reading does give a holistic impression, from bottom to top of 37, and regarding 8 in general.

Line 3 is a curiosity. Temper flaring gives the impression of a localized inflammation, possibly affecting all that is below and above.
