I'm a bit curious about this type of divination of I ching... Could you suggest me a site or a pubblication about it?
Thanks in advance!

Hi all-
Just to avoid confusion for some on this list, the term "xiang shu yi xue" is being used here in a very narrow sense to refer to a particular method.
The term is much more commonly used to refer to a very broad class of approaches which use images and numbers, sometimes in preference to the words of the text. The Chinese phrase means "Image and Number Yijing Studies". The school really got going in the early Han about 2200 years ago. It constituted much of the Yiweishu or Yijing apocryphal writings, and the best broad survey of this in English is in a doctoral dissertation by George Fendos (see my bibliography). More recently, Shao Yong of the Song dynasty, with his Plum Blossom method, was its leading proponent.
