On April 14, 2007 I made the following inquiry:

"What is the financial outlook for the company I work for within the next six months?"

Hexagram 21 with lines 1, 2, and 4 transforming is what came up. Can someone give me some insight? I am new to the I Ching. The method of divination that I use involves 16 U. S. Statehood Quarters and the probabilites are the same as with Yarrow Stocks.

Thanks,
Gordon

Hexagram 21 with lines 1, 2, and 4 > 4

Basically, it does not look good at the beginning, but as the months unfold, so do more problems and the company has to fight to overcome them but there is a ray of hope here because as the company wards off the competition, it gains back its position in the market. So, I would assume that the company will be financially better off at the end of the 6 month period.
I also 'think' that the company will have to take on board somebody who can guide it through these troubled times.

Willowfox,
Would you mind stating how you arrived at this? I am not in disagreement with you. After I made this inquiry and got the response I realized that I am too close to the situation to be as objective about the interruptation as I should be. Thanks for you help.

Hex 21.1,2 suggest that in the first few months your company will be hit, first time it will be a minor upset, but the 2nd time it will be something heavier.

Hex 21.4 suggests that in the latter half of the 6 month period your company is going to take a beating, but through hard work the situation will be turned around giving a successful end.

As for hex 4, it suggests that your company will need the services of a consultant to get out of trouble.

BTW at first I thought 'interruption' was a typo for interpretation, but you used it several times now ? Freudian slip maybe.

While I'm here re the reading yes looks like theres problems here due to lack of knowledge/inexperience that need working through. Best way forward for the company is to be willing to learn.

Freudian slip maybe.

That's where you say one thing but mean your mother?

Sometimes a slip is just a slip, a tie is just a tie....

If you knew more about this company I work for you would understand the Freudian slip. (lol) Thanks for pointing this out to me.
