First of all, excuse me for having disappeared - sorry, this is definitely NOT a good week... Then, I want to say thanks to everyone of you for your wonderful help. And now that I have shown I am no ungrateful beast (or at least I hope so), let's pass to my further consultations...
I asked the i-ching what would happen if I sent my novel to the publisher of my poetry (some of you suggested it would be a good move - one more fit to my aim, as hex. 16 seemed to show). The answer was hex. 32, which seems quite favourable, as a matter of fact (no changing lines). I was not too fond of being published again by such little company, but anyhow I will try.
I also asked what would happen if I did not ask the literary agency for their judgement, and I got hex. 41. Difficult to understand - as far as I see, it seems even renouncing could be the right thing to do.
In the end, I asked what will be my future as a writer (I know, maybe too general - questions should not be formulated in such terms). I got hex. 60, changing lines 6 at 3th place and 9 at 5th place = 11. Good - maybe even too good, I hardly dare to believe...
As for the one of you who adviced me to ask some foreign publishing company: I thought about it many and many times, but do you know what means translating my works in English? Seriously, my style is much too complex, and my English not elegant enough to do it properly. Or maybe it is only I am scared.
Anyhow thanks again. I'll let you know what happens in the next months. Kisses, Vassilissa.
