Hi everyone,
My boss recently found out that one source of funds was being withdrawn and we would have to let one or two people go. It's a very difficult choice, since each person has different strengths and weaknesses, but finally we narrowed it down to either persons A and B, or persons A and C. (poor A) Still it's difficult, so I suggested asking Yi who to let go.
We got 59.6 for A and B, and 51 for A and C. My advice was to let A and B go, because 59 is about dispersion, which is actually the topic, dispersing employees, and line 6 meant my boss would stay out of danger, whereas the 51 for A and C would indicate lots of disturbing moments, which fits because C has lots of eclectic knowledge which comes in handy for resolving those problems.
Then we found out only one person needed to go, either A or B. Still very difficult - A is harder to work with, but has a slight edge technically. So this time I cast, and got 13.4 for A, and 41 for B. My question this time was about keeping the person.
My advice this time was to keep A, because line 4 says cannot attack, changing to Family, whereas B got Decline, which actually refers to the topic, decline in staff, similar to the 59 I mentioned above.
I'm feeling a bit unsure about this, especially since we were both leaning to keeping B.
Anyone have any comments? Is this a valid way to see things?
