Hi All
My wife has been less than happy with her current job for some time and recently applied for a similar role at another company. She was surprised to be offered an interview and when the job offer actually came, she has found it difficult to know what to do.

So the IC was consulted and asked the following questions.

1) What would be that advantages for my wife in taking the new job?
15.6>52
2) What would be that disadvantages for my wife in taking the new job?
35.6>16
3) What would be that advantages for my wife in staying with her current company?
29.1.6>61
3) What would be that disadvantages for my wife in staying with her current company?
48.2>39

I have struggled to make sense of the responses and am not sure what advice to offer her. So working on the premise that when you can't see the wood for the trees, it's always a good plan to ask for an axe from the nearest woodsman.

What comments do you people have on this?

At a glance my impression is it looks like there is every advantage in taking the new job and none in keeping the old. 15.6 and 35.6 seem to indicate a little boldness is called for, I don't know if she'd feel anything like guilt at leaving her current job but she shouldn't because it seems like her current job offers her little (48.2) and staying in it looks rather unpleasant (29.6)

15.6..taking the new job , your wife is able to show her talents and capacity...no need to hide her light under a basket, she is at the top of her game
35.6...the "disadvantage" is she may have to exert a little more effort at first than she is used to at the old position

agreeing with T, staying put doesnt seem to have any advantage....it would only keep her longer in an unhappy role

15.6>52 She would have order back into her life, in other words she would be very happy with the result as the dissatisfaction that she now feels would be be removed. Then hex 52 says she would be able to stay in the new job as long as she pleases.

2) What would be that disadvantages for my wife in taking the new job?
35.6>16 She would have to contain her enthusiasm and not be bossy or pushy in the new job.

3) What would be that advantages for my wife in staying with her current company?
29.1.6>61 This says that the advantages of staying are that she knows the job and knows what a pain it is, she is like a prisoner who decides they like the punishment. In other words there are no advantages to staying. Hex 61 says wake up and smell the roses, see how bad it really is.

3) What would be that disadvantages for my wife in staying with her current company?
48.2>39 She is unable to use her talents, so she is wasting her life here, she will be forever stunted in this job.
