Courtship... Again

Hi again,

After having a hard time trying to repair an spoiled relationship with someone (maybe some of you already know me because of the "Painful Courtship" threads in the recent past), I eventually had success in letting go that person...

The bad news is that I actually forgot this person because one month ago I meet someone again I've been a friend 2 years ago from now, and after meeting her again now that I'm back in Europe, and learning that she was broking her relationship with her boyfriend (a hell of a relationship btw...) we began to see each other alot more, even I had time to learn a lot of things of this girl and realize we are the same types of person, and that we both had attraction with each other. At that time I cast the iching, and to be honest I don't remember exactly the hex I draw, but I remember that was one of the best positive hex and lines I ever draw.. Anyway..

Things went really wrong a few days ago, since the boyfriend, again , convinced her to be together again (btw they have been broking up like four times in three years...) this guy actually is a very controlling a possesive being.. Is one of these persons that try to undermine psychologically their mates.. and has success btw..

So last time I met her, after knowing she returned to the relationship, I told her my feelings toward her, although I told her that she should already know.. Actually she has been courting me pretty directly..tellinh me her feelings toward me, even offering me projects from her company (I'm a freelancer) until the last days of course that she cut communications with me..

In a nutshell, she is now denying all the things that she told me just one month ago , trying to make me think I took the wrong message.. Anyway I feel she leaved the door open because of her comments that day, and moreover, she told me that she still wants me to be her teacher for a software package she needs to know.. So we'll be sharing a fair amount of time in my own apartment every week (Actually its my studio we I live too)

So started a conversation with the Yi again...

Do I still have chances of having a relationship with her?

Seems like, although I'm not in a strong position, with modesty and patience I will get recognized.

With patience, getting in touch with her a few hours a week because of the classes will eventually be the way to get a relationship?

(Even if this is not gonna help me, I will give anyway the classes to her for free, since for me this is like a gift to her in return for helping me getting projects)

Seems very similar to the former response from the Yi, If I adorn myself (with my professional skills ??) maybe eventually she will feel more attracted to me??

An finally, there is any other advice for me regarding this relationship?

When I get three or more changing lines, I usually go trhough the transitional hexagrams for getting more clues, and doing so I end up with the last changing line 50.3 talking me about the point where I am in this story...

Am I the pheasant waiting to be "eated" by her, So i'll need to wait for the time of completion that had not arrived yet.


Well, any help would be appreciated, I think I', getting the messages from the Yi, I just need others point of view..

Take it a step at a time. For best results be true to yourself. In any relationship there has to be give as well as take.

Your interpretations ring true to me.. Just a little doubt with the last question:

In 30.1.2.3 to 64 ,I think I understood but just in case... You mean that the iron is hot right now and I should not wait for an special opportunity (another quarrel with her boyfriend for example)? Because there's the danger that she could get more distant with me? Or the opposite?

You have a difficult relationship here, but it is one you have to own. My feeling was one of sooner rather than later, but really it has to be when you feel it is right for you. You asked the Yi for advice about the relationship it gave you :

Indeed I feel that, although my rational brain tells me to wait for "opportunities", my hearth tells me not to wait for such things, just to open myself even more to her, so she can see and experience the real person I am.

Btw, I know that its not a good idea to ask a lot of questions to the Yi, but...

Today I spoke to a friend that at the same time is the best friend of this girl, and she wants her to be out of her current relationship, and she knows too my feelings towards her, so she told me she would try to help me speaking with her.

I asked if she would be able to help me:

Hex 8.1.6 to 42

Both hexagrams and line 1 look very good but line six... is telling me that maybe when she talks to her it will be too late? She's not in town and will be back in a few weeks, she planned to talk to her when she's back.
