I love Wikipedia. It's got an I Ching entry, of course. I'm wondering whose names they used for the hexagrams. For each hexagram, it gives the Wilhelm name as the second name, but whose work did they draw on for their first choice?

That'd be Ritsema/Karcher, or possibly just Karcher. One from that stable, at all events.

The trick is in the Metatags (they go between the "<head></head>" tags)... Load them up with meaningful tags! Having Google Ads helps a great deal too. If you don't like the way they look, put them at the bottom of your pages. They may even generate some little revenue for you.

Having said that, Meta Tags they are not perfect (http://searchenginewatch.com/showPage.html?page=2167931)... Still, they do help a little.

Welcome back, dragon!

The trick hasn't been in the meta-tags for many, many years: too easy to fake. It's mostly in the incoming links: there are many subtle nuances, but having lots doesn't hurt. Wikipedia gets them, of course, by the bajillion (see, we just contributed another one with this thread). No individual site about just one topic can begin to compete.

Um. Is it just me, or are we veering a little off topic?
