47--any chance of getting this job that I REALLY want?

This is the job I'd love to have, and it involves relocation--to HAWAII!!! But when I asked if there is any chance of getting it, I got 47.

Is this pretty much a negative?

For the moment you will get nowhere with this job but if you hang in there and keep the torch alight then in the future circumstances regarding this job will change in your favour, so if you are still interested at a later date then certainly reapply but for the moment no deal. Hex 47 suggests you try again middle of next year.
