I asked "What is it that I need to know" the nuclear is the same. I've gone through Hillary's lesson 7 "single hex" and read through the response to indras hex 2 result, but that does not appear relevant. Depending on which translation you look at the advice varies with conflicting forces, new cycle of time opens, help things grow and draw persons close from the south west?
With no changing lines I have to rely on the main hex. Should I be asking another question and if so which one!
:bows:Advice/insight please.

"What is it that I need to know"
You need to listen, to be receptive to others, to learn to follow in your particular situation, that it is not a time to take the lead or to start anything new.

One question you might ask yourself is, What is it I need to know...about what? That might narrow the field down a little bit. I agree with everything Willowfox says, but Hexagram 2 is also about receiving guidance. And how do you receive guidance? You must find a guide. Then you can "be receptive and open" to that guide.
But who is the guide? That can be answered best by asking, what do I need to know about what? The I Ching itself is a guide. It can indirectly at least, answer all our questions about our life, how we should live it, how we should interact with others, and how we can be receptive to life itself. To the I Ching.
To receive help with your hexagram you might specify just a little bit.
Good luck with it,

Another thing to know from hexagram 2: you have loads of strength at your disposal, no question. The maybe-more-challenging question is where you're going to lend and use that strength: what you're serving, what your direction is, and so on. The questions of finding and losing allies in southwest and northeast all have to do (I think) with finding your place and purpose.
Of course how/whether this fits for you would depend on what it is you need to know something about... ;)
