The moon trined Pluto this morning at 29 leo - 29 Sag. It was the last aspect to Pluto the moon will make before Pluto enters Capricorn tomorrow, January 25, 2007. As it represents a sort of culmination of an era - Pluto first entered Sagittarius back in the mid 90's - I would expect people would have experienced some sort of feeling of celebration or a lot of things happening the last day or two. As it was a "positive" aspect I would expect people had good things happening, but along with "Rebirth" Pluto is the planet of extremes, death and secrets. I see in the news a fine actor was discovered dead in his apartment from an overdose of prescription meds, and the secret dealings of a stock trader have been discovered that amounts to one of the worst frauds in history. But in my personal life yesterday was a wonderful day. I got a phone call from my mother who has dementia and she was absolutely as clear as anyone. No telling how long it will last but it was fabulous.

Pluto will be turning retrograde In April and going back into Sag in June. Any thoughts on what this portends? The Pluto will re-enter Capricorn in November. I'm recording what all happened this week in my world so as to be more aware when Pluto is making these changes again. I'm very interested if folks feel to share how this aspect manefested for you.

"DUBAI/LONDON, 22 January 2008 — Global stock markets plunged yesterday, with Tokyo tumbling to its lowest level in more than two years as US President George W. Bush’s tax plan to revive the world’s largest economy disappointed investors."

Well, the stock markets seem to react strongly. Looks like a global mood change, from Sagittarian optimism (and over-optimism, in the housing business for example) to pessimism, carefulness and fear (Capricorn/Saturn).
Meanwhile GWB, with Pluto soon opposing his sun sign Cancer, hangs on to whatever Sagittarius or Jupiter he can find in his chart. :)

I read somewhere that with Capricorn being the sign of "reality" Pluto's entrance into this sign could indicate the effects of long time trends finally becoming apparent -like poor health practices catching up with a person and global warming.

I found myself finally able to complete a set of astrological notes on the U.S. primary elections I had found myself unable to work on before. Pluto is particularly active, conjunction with Venus just before Venus slipped into Capricorn, then trine to the moon the 24th before Pluto slips into Capricorn. These next two weeks culminating with the solar eclipse, Mardi Gras and then the Chinese New Year of the Rat should have a lot of something, though with its being 245 years since Pluto entered Capricorn last not quite clear what.

I am sure there is a big message in this trine, however, there is a much bigger issue with Pluo moving into Capricorn. It does not stay there of course, this year, but will go back into Cap... later. Capricorn represents governments among other things, and Pluto can be explosive. I think over the next few years we will see a major shaking up of many world governments.

While Pluto was in Sagittarius, we saw religious (Sag) violence (Pluto) on a massive scale. Next, governments around the world will fall, or be severely crippled.
