Hi ,

I’ll a little bit confused about a reading and wonder if you could give me your insights.
The question was “describe me the situation” and got 24.3 to 36.

I guess Yi talks about the difficulties one facing during the way back home and 36 line 3 how to overcome these difficulties but still can't grasp what is about. :brickwall:

What do you see in that reading?

I find its usually quite literal, the thing you ask about tends to re occur over and over. You make a decision , you go back on a decision, you make a decision again etc etc theres no particular judgement about this i think though it may look a bit of a waste of time in retrospect perhaps. For some reason its not easy to make straight forward head on progress without constant back tracking then moving forward again then back tracking- could be due to indecision in ourselves or some ambiguity in the situation. Or very literally I've found it indicate I return physically to a place/situation I don't expect to in which case its been a kind of prediction.

Do you think 36.3 is advice on how to solve these difficulties ? I didn't know that the fan yao was advice on how to solve things ? I thought it was just a kind of mirror image hmm....

Hi Trojan

Well, I use fan yao in different ways. Don’t know if it is the right way to use it , but sometime I see additional information, other seems like the evolution of a situation, sometimes looks like an opposite. Here , in my –confused – opinion its seems like a way to understand the ambiguity of the situation I asked about.

The question was “describe” and not “descried” (typo) Sorry.

Thanks for your insight

Maria

P.s. Still :brickwall: and :confused::hissy:

Hi Maremaria

Just in case the comment could be useful

When the light returns, the darkness still surround you for a while. You need to nourish your light (see the wings about hex 24.. the light is still weak, you need to noursih it, not bold action, the need to relax and let the light grow stronger); and cover it from what can hurt it (hex 36).

About the lines:
In 24.3 there is a will to return to the right path, but that will is weak, so there are one step forward and one step bakcward. But, since there is sincerity, the will to follow the light will win at the end, even in a surprising and even out-of-nothing way (the dark leader will be caught; 36.3).

Both 24 and 36 are hexagrams of caution, to reflex more than to take action.

It may be useful to reflex on whatever happened in this situation between middle of october and middle of november 2007 (the time frame for 24.3). And how this uncertainity could be solved in the last 15 day of January (time for 36.3).

Best

Hi Jesed,

Yes,It make sence to me, if I have perceived well what you said., about the light and the darkness.

Jesed : Both 24 and 36 are hexagrams of caution, to reflex more than to take action.I think you are right about that. I asked Yi to give me additional information on its answer and got 61.6 to 60. Hmmm , what I heard was “shut up!!!! Stop talking and listen !!!!!!!” :bag:

Be back and talk about it later. Crazy Monday here in work.

Thanks ,
Maria
