Does 15.3 bode well for relationship?

I asked if I should expect anything more than friendship from X.

The "romance" has been dragging for some time, and maybe 15.3 illuminates that things could be carried to a conclusion. Hexagram 2 speaks of devotion, and it seems positive. However, what could be expected? Would it be moving away from the apparent friendship level romance into something deeper?

I think 15.3 > 2 is telling you to first be Receptive to what's good about your relationship as it is now. As you appreciate why your friendship works so well at this level perhaps you will then see what to do to take it higher - or not. 15.3 certainly sounds like you've got a good thing going so far!:)

Yes you can as long as you don't try to force the issue and you need to remain patient, you can't hurry a good thing.
