As silly as it sounds, once I looked up the gua obtained from the time of this tragedy, I thought - if only he had sought advice, he would have received a clear warning from the I Ching!
The warning is a vivid picutre of what followed... It happened on 2/14/08 at 3 pm.

The Flying bird leaves a message:
Not appropriate to ascend,
Appropriate to descend.
Great good fortune!
He actually ascended the Cole Hall stage in an act of selfish anger, rather than seeking help, descending.
Line 5 was the changing line:
The prince shoots ,
and hits in the cave.
He shot and killed 5 people, including himself.
Obviously he was too far imbalanced to seek help, but the very idea that, had he sought advice on his plans, he would have received this insight - is staggering.
