I've noticed that there are only eight mentions of women in the Yi (nu3). A serious shortcoming, don't you think? So I'm gonna sex up the Yi, and I think it's a wonderful marketing opportunity as well. I mean, there are umpteen hundred versions of the Yi on the market right now, but NONE of them are sexy. Well, mine will be sexy. I'm calling it 'The Hot Yi', subtitling it 'Girls, Girls, Girls!' and of course, there will be pictures. I have a camera. I'll get started right away...

Books about the Yi are not real bestsellers, but if you combine it with a little eroticism it might change. So every time and again I think about writing

Okay. How is this for a starter:

1 & 2. Speak for themselves.
3. The first time. Fumbling your way through foreplay.
4. Premature ejaculation. The embarrasment of every young man.

For 4, I think the idea of an inexperienced young man is perfect, but rather than having things all wet and messy, I think it might be better for him to have an obvious but perhaps inappropriate arousal at the wrong time or in the wrong place - a bulge in the trousers would be 'keeping a lid on it'.

For 5, I'd prefer someone who's randy but there's no immediate outlet so they have to wait. There's nothing more erotic than having to wait when you're turned on.

I'm happy with the other ideas though.

For 8: uniting around a central idea seems to lend itself to a particular part of the anatomy, I think.

For 9, she restrains his ardent attentions with a slight push of her hand.

For 10, he bites her in the bum, of course.

11 - well, it's gotta be a beautiful picture of two people making love.

12 - well, I'd rather not go there.

I wonder what happened with the lost 4 positions. Maybe the authors had not enough documented or maybe these positions were reserved only for real masters, maybe these four positions were too much for the eyes.

I take your link and see only one review, the customer is not very satisfied:

It could have been more in depth about the positions. It says it shows 60 positions but really it is mostly forplay. This would be a good video if you need help or know someone who does need help with their forplay. The scenes for me were a little short and not a lot of information.

Lack of depth in positions, excessive foreplay, too short scenes ...

Maybe is not a good idea to see the video for getting help. But what about the YI?

It was years ago when I got it and watched it. What I remember is that there was a narrator who told the hexagrams and some kind of reasoning why the things the couple were doing fit in with the theme of the hexagram. It wasn't a super hard-core kind of video; I mean it was sex but it was all sort of attractive settings and was supposed to be "artsy." I don't know how anyone could complain about excessive foreplay... What weirded me out was the t-shirts the narrator wore, plus he was right in the room with the couple, doing his detached voice-over. I saw this item on eBay and it turned out the place selling it was a comic book store close to my house so I ran and got a copy. I just called them to see if they still had any, and it turns out that they used to get their DVDS from a store they were once partners with but are now separate from. The partner still has it cheap! And their store is running a 50% off sale, check the home page. So for $6 you can get it for yourself to check out. The store is right here in NJ.
