I'd never advise trying someone by the I Ching. This answer could mean a number of things in the situation - even that he feels misundertood by you. I don't think you can get a hard and fast answer here - or at least i think it would be stupid to take it without concrete evidence aswell.

That's right, and that's my take generally on using the Yi generally to get secret information about other people. But I think the oracle's given the questioner a picture of HER position in this situation - she's like the prince in 36.5 who's keeping his head down because he's so terribly and dangerously close to the negative force of the ruler. It's like the Yi's saying to her: "As for your question about your husband, think of the situation as being like this..."
