My previous post was based on D's realization that I am 7 years older. So I asked, "Where does D want to go from here?" and received 54.1>40. I am upset. I am always concerned about receiving 54 as I read it to be in a subordinate position. My take on this reading is: there is someone I am subordinate to, but that not all is lost Hex 40 is about Liberation. Should I just set him free and painfully move on? Oh love and all of it's complicated manifestations...!
Is it possible it reflects the subordinate position I am in with him at work?

It suggests that D still wants to be friendly with you and the situation appears to be good for you, it just advises you to be discreet in public.
Hex 40 suggests that D will be back to his old normal self soon enough, and then life goes on.

Thank you WillowFox. Your answer is so welcome. There's been too much attention on the two of us. Everyone knows of this attraction and it is time to dim down the lights. Perhaps it is time to lay low and communicate with him without getting too caught up in the drama. As Karcher put it, 54.1 states that although I am not in a position of power, I can influence things.Put oneself in order and release bound energy.

Hex 40 finally came to pass. He just announced to everyone that he is leaving his job at the end of this month. I am very saddened by this news; in fact it was a shock. Hex 40 is about deliverance, is it not? Liberation from suffering?Or is there hope we will connect after he leaves?

Laurie, you may break free of him this way(with him leaving)--but in actuality, it may indeed mean that wiht him leaving the job, you and he will be free to see one another.
#54 doesn't always refer to being usbordinate to another woman, but to circumstances outside your control. And as you know, line 1 suggests that you have some influnece, just not *outwardly*.So, assume you do mattereven if not obviously so.
