Hi! I've not posted for absolutely ages, but I thought I'd share this. I came up with a nice way to consult the Yi, which is great if you happen to be stuck in front of the computer, with no coins or stalks handy, or if divining might get you funny looks! (not that that would bother me . . . I frequently get them . . .)
Log on to random.org, which is a true random number service. Go to the random integers bit of the site, and generate 6 numbers from 1 - 16. I use this key:
1 = -- x --
2 to 4 = ---o---
5 to 9 = -------
10 to 16 = --- ---
(in other words, reproducing the yarrow odds).
