I thought malaria was quite common in Ireland a few hundred years ago, so nothing really strange in it popping up in England.

"The European Union countries are outside the endemic area for malaria, but many cases of malaria contracted elsewhere are imported into Europe each year"
http://www.eurosurveillance.org/em/v03n05/0305-221.asp
Of course, a couple of hundred year ago, a lot of irish and british men went to tropical countries and imported malaria into Ireland and UK.. it was called colonialism, remember?

This reality of malaria as an imported disease, including Ireland ("However as demonstrated by the case of Joe Kearns, Irish doctors may be delayed in diagnosing malaria, simply because they are unused to dealing with such a disease." www.irishhealth.com (http://www.irishhealth.com)), is far away from the posibility to have malaria as a endemic disease, because of the rising temperature in template weathers

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought Ireland had malaria problems when Oliver Cromwell was fighting in that country which had absolutely nothing to do with colonialism or tropical countries.

Willow, you are right this time, in a way, but so what? What is your point? Just because malaria has been around for centuries means there can't be any special meaning to it now? I recommend that you pay more attention to what is going on. You mocked one time about cameras going up every where, where, if you were aware, you would know that over 4 million footage of Americans is videotaped every hour in the U.S., and just a couple weeks ago they announced in our town that cameras are planned for every intersection in the city. Now, you will say, that is just for crime fighting, and again, you are right, but only in the short term. The people that are telling you these things aren't stupid people, and it becomes clear very quickly who has been doing their homework and who hasn't. Why do people just close their eyes and say, oh, I am not going to believe this, I am not going to believe that? Don 't confuse me with the facts. My mind is made up. It is ludicrous, and I do mean ludicrous. You have no valid arguements whatsoever against the people that are telling you these things, but you just go on and on with ridiculous and poorly thought out arguments...

I don't mean to be rude, people, I love you all. I am simply confounded by this unbelievable refusal to look at the truth. Start paying attention to what is going on, and look at the why behind it. This isn't a joke. People are telling you the truth. At least consider the possibility, Good Lord.

The point was that malaria has been around for a long time so why headline the fact that it may make a come back?

As for cameras, I agree that they are being putting up everywhere and are being used for other purposes besides watching out for criminals. But, there is nothing much I can do about it personally except to go around the city spraying paint on the camera's lenses or being really extreme, using a gun on them.
