As far as I know, there are no "versions" of the Yi in Japanese. As everywhere else, there are "translations" of it. In Japan, the Yijing is known as Ekikyo. There are many Japanese commentators of the Yi. A good book to read is:

I'm affraid that there isn't an english translation of japanese commentaries.

The text of the Ekikyo is of course in chinese characters, if not the same text, something close to the text provided by Joel Biroco in his page. For reading the commentaries you need to read japanese.
