To Decrease or Increase? That is the Question

Hello.

I am in the midst of writing a masters thesis and I asked the Yi for some advice concerning my approach to this process. I got Sun, Decrease, (Hex 41) with a Changing line at the top.
This top line reads something like: not diminishing but increasing.

This alternates to Lin, (Hex 19) approach, and the top line is about generous approaching....


So I guess this is overall a favorable reading, but I am still not sure how to apply it to the process of writing....

any ideas??

I think it's saying to write as to the whole world or to God, rather than to only get a good grade.

Line 41.6 says to stick your nose to the grind stone and just keep working at your thesis, and when you are stuck or having problems go and consult with others, this method of work and study promises a successful outcome.

Hex 19 says to be enthusiastic, very determined and just keep studying, doing a thesis requires work, there is no short cut, but working hard will give you the success you want.
