This Sunday will be presidential elections in Costa Rica. There are 14 candidates?? And 5 with real posibilities.

In this context, is difficult to give a name using Yi Jing. So, i find interesting to try.

Seems to me that Oscar Arias (first place in tendential polls) would win tomorrow election, but finally the president would be Ott?n Sol?s (third place in tendential polls).

I see 2 posibilities for that:
a) Most probably: Oscar Arias would win tomorrow but he won't have enough adventage, so a second round would be needed. In the second round, the Socialist Union Party (second place in tendential polls) would support Sol?s
b) Minor probably: Oscar Arias would win, under doubts of unlegally election. And justice would give Sol?s the reason.

(And i have the feeling that i would make a completely fool with this.. but let's see ;) )

Anyone else wants to try?

Hi Jesed,

I?ve heared that it is a tight race. So it is interesting to see what the Yi makes of it. I do no nothing about the candidates so I will not try this one, but let?s here what the Yi told...

I once tryed to predict the outcome of a worldchampionship soccer with the I Ching... I know now that this 4000 year old tool does not have any sense of that game. Or I sould have made a better question...http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/I_Ching_community/clipart/blush.gif

ps. about soccer

I know that Master Ricardo Andre? had predicted not only the outcome of the world championship, but the place his country got in that ocasion.

I once 'experimented' by throwing 24 hexagrams for 24 countries, and the most 'positive' one was mentioned by me as the worldchampion... I thought Spain was the best acording to the hexagrams, but I guess I was interpreting the whole thing not very correctly. Mmm, not my thing these days anymore http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/I_Ching_community/clipart/blush.gif

Although, England have the best team in Europe at the moment, so we have a great chance!!!

(oh and thats without using the IC http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/I_Ching_community/clipart/happy.gif )

The 2nd 20-year is not a bad cycle to reclaim the title based on the Chinese calendar.

In fact the title in the 1st 20-year cycle (1986) is lost to the hand of God!

Today the manual scrutiny of the election had ended.

Oscar Arias win the election on February 5, 2006

However, there are 967 lawsuits started by Ott?n's Party
