Hi all,
Today I met with the woman to whom I am attracted. We met for coffee, and had a nice time. After we parted, I asked of the Yi:
"What is the status of the relationship between "her" and I?". The answer was 62.2.4.5 changing to 48.
I sense that the Yi is addressing the fact that I am attracted to her, and would like to advance my relationship with her. Here is what I read: 62 means to not attempt anything "large" at this time, stay "small" in my actions towards her. Line 2 shows that I should show restraint. Line 4 refers to yielding and modesty - not to move ahead with my desired "plan" or "agenda" - to do so would be dangerous. Line 5 recommends that I should not shut down any and all attempts - but as the previous lines say, make small steps. The resulting hexagram 48 - I take to mean that there is a potential for our relationship.
Somewhat encouraging. Please advise as to how you read these lines.
