Hi,
I just used the I Ching for the first time. http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/I_Ching_community/clipart/happy.gif

I asked, "What can I do to help me grow more spiritually?"

I got unchanging Hexagram 64 - Not Yet Fulfilled.

Since I'm new to this, I was wondering how I should interpret the reading.

Thanks,
Zack

Don't be satisfied yet. Make use of the difference between what you are and what you want to be. It's a good reading for growing. The Yi doesn't really admire things that try to stay the same.

I like what Brad said.

I'd add this: before you set out on whatever path of spiritual practice you opt for, wait for a while. Don't go rushing into it. Sit on the bank of the river and watch it go by and listen to it talking to you. It'll be time to wade in and cross it soon enough. But for now, don't forge ahead yet.

Yes, what they said.

A firmly established belief is the opposite of 64, as though to say 'here it is, it is like this, I've found it and named it and now it is a thing.' 64 remains open-ended and curious.
