Are those lines contradictory?

Yesterday I casted the IC about a job question: what will be the outcome if I send my resume to X? (Friends suggested me to do so).
I received 43.4.6> 9

In Karcher's book the two changing lines : 4 and 6 seems contradictory :confused:

Line 4: hurt or punished you are moving to the place you rest. If you keep your capacity to act directly, your sorrows will disappear. Do not trust everything people try to tell you . Wait for the right moment to act.

Line 6: If you do not communicate about your situation the way will close. Tell people about it! Call it out!

To me line 4 says wait! and line 6 says do something....I'm lost! :confused:
Any insights/ experience with Hex. 43 and hex. 9 ?

Thank you for your answer. I asked the oracle because the one (X) I'm supposed to send my resume to knows my actual boss. Actual boss who doesn't know I'm looking for another position...

I get the feeling that exactly because you're in the midst of very great
difficulties, you feel confused, and cannot be resolute yourself - so there
comes the advice of 43:4, "be led like a sheep". So, since it was friends
who suggested you to do so, go on and do as they advised you. You must
speak to them and ask them to help you out, and apply (cry out, 43:6),
otherwise the outcome will not be good, and you'll be left powerless (9).

And I Ching aside, looking for another job is a sort of 'final' solution. It
is also very very legal. It's none of your boss's business what you decide
to do with your life - this is just business, and all about one's resources,
and nothing personal. So even if your boss finds out, so what..? Aren't
we all supposed to be after what's best for us? Good luck with it!

Thanks to you guys. As you said Diamanda I'm really lost these days. Sending my resume (I'm not applying for any position, just sending my resume in cas...) would mean I'm totally ready to change everything in my life. If by chance, this guy offers me a position, I'll have to leave everything behind, move abroad and leave friends, great colleagues I love to go towards something new....exciting but scary.

I'll send my resume anyway. Wish me luck :)

Line 43.4 says that you want to move, you are restless but it tells you that you would be much better off to remain where you are, in the same job. But will you listen to this advice?

Line 43.6 says that if you got the new job you would experience the same restless given time, it is not the job that is the problem, it is you.

Hex 9 says nothing is going to happen.
