THE QUESTION : WHAT MESSAGE IS TO BE FOUND IN THE DEATH OF A FRIEND AND THE APPEARENCE OF AN APPERATION?

My Cat died a violent death with out going into details, we were dependent on one another. Within 8 hours of his death a stranger came to my door. A woman who appeared to be confused, disorented and unable to communicate intellagebly. She woke me by wratteling my outside gate at 2:30 am. She was refused entry by me and left bewildered. I did not relate her to my loss till sometime later in the same morning..Ok, I am not a person who devines for my self but this did tweek my curiosity so I asked.

The first throw became 57.4 > 44.0

My library has many versions and interpertations of the I-Ching. I used 2 of them to do a sort of compariative analysis of this question. Agreeing it is more complex than I would have liked ( the question ) I could not whittle it into anything less copmplex at the time.

From the Stephen Karcher/ Myths For Change comes this ( my understanding ) of what is said!

57.4 seems to send the message of " a spirit and healer calling" and I associate it to the initial death of my friend. The spirit being feminine and change "silent wind and wood" controling omans and plans and directing the moment.

The Movement to Hex 44.0

Breaking up things you meet new fates, ie, I will move on to new adventures?

This is the energy of coupeling.. ie, coupeling is to me a many and varied bonding of things..not necessarly sensual or sexual?

In 57.4 it tells me sorrow disappears and in the field of Kings 3 type of games are played...this eludes me completely? I will arive at a position to influence things?
Information and recognizing my self is possible now.
I am coupled with a creative force? a Muse?

Backing now to Hex 44.0 and its last comment,
Weaver girl (crossing) a river of stars on the bridge of magpies to marry on the 7 day of the 7 moon.....now I understand this is the bride of the King and not ment to be my marriage. At the same instant she could be the Muse or the Spirit caller and healer of my friend Since Dead?

I will clarify this with a statement of " I do not necessarly have the strength of spiritual belief in the eminence of messages from the beyond. I dont discount it, just this has never had any validation till this experience.

Would anyone like to leap into this challenge and give me another perspective on what is happening just now? I will perhaps post the second interrpertation at a later time.

Respect to you all and help with this is much appricated.

Assuming such things are possible, I see the cat as wanting very much to return home and it's spirit successfully bagging a vehicle (57.4) - the strange woman who's unconcious was open to such intention who found herself at your door (44).

Hi Jerry,

Just a thought, and no way other than theoretical context to substantiate it.

57 (air/wind) can be seen as manifestation of spirit. Yi meets people where they live, so the same question asked by two different people will likely have two different answers. It may be that ?where you live? has needed a dose of spirit, and so this occurrence served you in more than one way, ie: during the hunt, three types of game are caught.

44 has the guts to seek it, find it and make a child from it.

The first line of 57.4 says 'remorse vanishing'.

I'd be thinking that the strange appearances at your door are life's way of letting you know that a connection between you and your friend still exists, even after death. It's a kind of consolation. It's so that you can feel more okay and less anguish about your loss.

Sorry about your loss.

Cheers to you all. Rosada; I always make a quiet asumption that almost anything is possible never discounting the probability nothing is real. Thanks for your comment.

Bruce; These statements you make were my feelings on 57. I always find the meaning of the same question falls on the ears of the asker of the question and the meaning to me and to them is always individualistic. We may agree as to the bottom line but how we get there is certainly personal. Your comment on 44 "seek and make a child from it", I will look to make a success from the opportunity and grow with this experience.

Dobro; Yes "remorse vanishing", this is a large clue for me to just move ahead and not feel so responsible. The appearence of the stranger was more "happenstance than connection" but in any case I have accepted this as a touch from beyond and a fairwell. Thank you for your response.

Micheline; Thank you for your support..it was a shocking message(the stranger at the door bit) and yet..Almost overlooked by me as some pill head lost in the dark. I wish now I had found a more compassionate way to hander this person.

Hello Jerry. I'm so sorry about the loss of your friend. Perhaps the game in the field refers to your cats experience, too.
