View Full Version : What is Hexagram 9.6 >5 telling me?

I am in confusion, because of my impending applications to school. I asked if I should proceed for applying, and 9.6 to 5 was the answer. I tried to interpret it, as meaning that I should wait and not advance at all? But I am confused. If I don't apply, nothin will come out of it. Is the hexagram saying that I should not apply at all? I do not know what is advised here.
I hesitate applying because I am not sure about the demands of the new course I am applying into. I have seeked career counseling but I have not felt like they have been real helpful for making a decision.

I asked myself, so I just apply, what is the big deal? The deal is I need to get letters of recommendation and I do not feel I have performed to my best yet.. and the applications close soon.

Nine at the top means:
The rain comes, there is rest.
This is due to the lasting effect of character.
Perseverance brings the woman into danger.
The moon is nearly full.
If the superior man persists,
Misfortune comes.

I am not sure what is meant by "perseverence" here. Does it mean continuation? And that I should not persist in application?

Thanks for any advice.

This line starts off about success, that due to your previous efforts success is either at hand or coming soon, so yes apply and then stay still and wait.

Thank you willowfox.

I asked 2 questions.

Is this my path in life I receive 25.5.6> 51.
I also asked if I am cut out for the course, I received 3.4.6>25

since the answers to these two questions are so simlar, as with the answer for my first question, that means to wait, I wonder what does it say?

hexagram 25 comes up in both questions, and I am wondering what it is trying to say by being innocent or uninterested. Am I cut out for the course I received 3.6, which is bloody tears flowing. Does it indicate insurmountable problems?

Also, 25.5.6 indicate time is not ripe for it?? i will proceed with the applications though as it may seem like the right thing to do.

If you don't try then you will never know.
