thanks to all of you for helping me to understand a little more what's about in my complicated relation with the man i'm in love with; i try to find a more suitable way to put myself in this situation, avoiding useless suffering (for both of us )

seeking a line of conduct, i've formulated several questions

how to behave towards him , towards this person ,having in view to place myself in the Tao ? 52.6-15

how should i relate myself to this relationship with him? 24(1,3,5,6)-53

will my relationship with him have a positive/happy outcome? 35(4,6)-2

which way could i improve the relationship with him? 63.4.5-55

is it worth continuing to commit to this relation? shall i get something more? (i/m refering to the quality of the relationship )2.1.4-51

I just wanted to make a short comment of your first question... Not long ago I was also thinking along the same lines (how to live according to the Tao) and I made some questions to the Yijing to find answers on that. Someone made a comment about Tao, as when we are living according to the Tao is when we live the life, go with the flow, experience and accept what is, keep what is high low, like becoming a valley in the middle of the mountains. I believe this is the answer you have received on 52.6. Detaching from desires, from the situation, looking for stillness, diminishing our "wants"... then, when finding peace, the way is clear.

I know it's difficult not wanting to know how things will go and if we will have a positive outcome (I fall in temptation for knowing this all the time!), however, I feel that if we want to live according to the Tao, then we have to let things unfold themselves.

And yet, even when I feel that, there's plenty of proof in this forum of how many times I am tempted of searching peace by asking the Yi about future outcomes!
