hex 44>48 fishing in the well?

Hello , i'm trying to figure out the meaning of hex 44.4.6 > 48 i got referring to a relationship issue, namely

the results of my going to meet sb i met a couple of weeks ago, after some turbulances we have had to come together due to rather incompatible timetables.

This hexagram has always blown my mind, is it about a woman who is to be feared or at least not suitable for a harmonious relationship, or (in this case) is it about complementary opposites who come to meet each other driven by natural ,mutual attraction?

Adittional clues : his intentions towards me - hex 45 unchanged, his feelings ( this question may be tricky , i know) - hex 45 unchanged.

I also asked about the meaning this date has for him and got hex 55.1.4.5>39

What makes the reading difficult is this fairly dim outlook ( an empty tank, edgy attitudes)of hex 44 against the potentially spiritual bondage that hex 45 is envisioning.

I would really appreciate your opinions.

It suggests that even if you had some problems with him it is necessary to remain on good terms with him and he does seem be quite difficult person.

Thank u very much for this take, i'm just wondering about the way u put it and how the construction of your sentence may relate to the understanding of the answer:) See, apparently there isn't the slightest external requiremant, imperative, nothing that would make the bond be compulsory whatsoever, so why is it "necessary" (although i like the idea somehow) to remain in good terms with this person? Have you got any "feeling" that would make it more clear to me? Can he become , say, dangerous if i don't? Or does it suggest that not keeping the bond would eventually be worse to bear than the possible difficulties between us?

I don't see that it is compulsory in any way to be on good terms with him but the line only suggests that it could be a good idea to do so, of course it is up to you whether you want to or not as I have no idea what your connection with him is or if he may come in useful in the future for something or other. So, if you end it, then that would be it, the end, as it seems to be a man that enjoys his solitude, not a friendly character.

Hex 45 for intentions does seem to show that he has some kind of interest in you,.

Aaa,ok, i got the idea, thank u, and i agree to the fullest, he actually is a little antisocial:), at least enjoys staying on his own.
In the meantime i asked IC to expand the picture of the feelings i arouse in him(if any) and got back to hex 48, with a changing line on the 5 th position >46 , so The Well with its clear water cooled me down a little.And also about the kind of relationship he would see me in with him, i got 15 unchanched, which i read as sth balanced , cooperative, aiming at integrity.I hope to be right.
